What types of news can I send here? |
Only urgent news reports are to be sent using the Breaking News web form or our Breaking News phone number: 245-NEWS. Your breaking news alert will trigger urgent measures to get the information on The Mountain Enterprise website along with available information from official sources. Please don't trigger false alarms with general news items. This is for Breaking News only. That includes: |

• Emergencies threatening public safety, such as fire, flooding, gas leaks, etc. |

• Missing children |
||
| • Serious crimes such as robbery, kidnapping or murder. | ||
| • Extraordinary events such as severe traffic incidents which may be blocking roadways. | ||
| • Positive news of an urgent nature (e.g. the Governor will visit my child in one hour!) | ||
What types of news should not be sent? |
Non-urgent news should not be sent using the Breaking News form or telephone hotline. General news, announcements and non-urgent submissions such as the following should be sent using the apropriate contact form: |

What should I include in my news report? |
Make sure you first tell us the essential facts: 1) Your name, phone and email 2) What happened? 3) Date(s) 4) Where it happened 5) Names of parties involved (if known) 6) Tell us the name(s), phone(s) and affiliation(s) of any persons involved we can talk to for more information 7) Attach up to three photos using the Breaking News online form. 8) Tell us any other information you think is relevant. | |
Where can I submit my news report? |
Breaking News reports can be submitted through the following methods: | |
