Falcon Volleyball Team on Champions’ Journey

UPDATE-LEBEC, CA. (Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at 2.55 p.m.)– The Frazier Mountain Falcons volleyball team lost Saturday’s playoff match against Rolling Hills Prep by a score of 3-0. The game was held in Van Nuys, away from both teams’ home turf. Tthe Falcons have had a stunning season, 10-0 in High Desert League play. UPDATE -Lebec, CA (Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at 9 a.m.)— The Falcon team won all three sets of its Thursday night match against Holy Martyrs High School and is now moving up to the next rung in CIF Divison playoffs. Coach Sharon Lemburg sad that about 150 people were there, based on sales and free tickets, cheering on the team.

On Saturday, she said, "we will be playing Rolling Hills Prep at 7 p.m. It is a warehouse at 1780 Oak St. Torrance 90501. Maybe some people will want to go. If we win, we will play on Tuesday and it would be a flip of the coin," as to whether the next game is at home or away.

UPDATE-Lebec, CA (Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at 12 noon)—
A playoff match between the Falcons volleyball team and Holy Martyrs High School will take place at Frazier Mountain High School, Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.

UPDATE-Lebec, CA (Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at 9:30 p.m.)—Coach Sharon Lemburg has texted the results of tonights game with Joshua Springs. Scores were 25-19, 25-8, 25-6

Faith Bedard had 11 kills, Angel McNeeley had 7 kills, Jessi Pilgram had 6 kills, and Dani Gendron had 5 kills. Heather Henderson had 17 assists and Kayla Burns had 8 assists. Heather Henderson had 7 aces.

UPDATE- Lebec, CA (Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at 10 a.m.)—
A home game launches the playoffs tonight at 7 p.m. in Frazier Mountain High School’s gym. The game is against Joshua Springs.

LEBEC, CA (Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at 7:37 a.m.)—
The Falcon Volleyball team has ended its regular season with a 10-0 High Desert League championship. Tuesday the Falcons will play at the Frazier Mountain High School gym in their play-off bout against Joshua Springs at 7:00 p.m. (please check back here on Tuesday in case the challenger has asked for a time change).

Coach Sharon Lemburg says that on Thursday the team will play "either St.Genevieve or Holy Martyr, but we won’t know if it is home or away until Wednesday morning. Then if we win, the next game would be on Saturday."

"Remember your team and Falcon Pride. Come and cheer the Falcons to victory," Lemburg said.
