Commuter Alert: Lane Closures on I-5 December 28-31

LANE CLOSURES for Interstate 5, December 28 – 31, 2009:
December 28 – 31 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – There will be a mile-long closure of the northbound Interstate 5 slow lane (#4 lane) from the Frazier Mountain Roadside Rest Area on-ramp to a half-mile north of the Lebec off-ramp to complete installation of a flashing beacon system.
On those same days, the Lebec Road off-ramp on northbound I-5 will close for up to three hours between 9 a.m. - noon to install a flashing beacon at the Lebec overcrossing.
All ramps and lanes are slated to be open to traffic by 12 noon December 31 in anticipation of holiday travel.
Closures are weather permitting and subject to change.
