BREAKING NEWS: Six Injured in Grapevine Crash Friday Evening

LEBEC (Saturday, June 6, 5:21 p.m.)—The Kern County Coroner's office has released news that 8 months old Noe Garcia of Los Angeles has died in a solo vehicle accident which occurred Friday, June 5 at about 5:40 p.m. The baby died at 12:56 a.m. Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol report, the family of six was traveling northbound on Interstate 5 in a 2007 Silverado pickup truck during rain. The vehicle suddely left the roadway and overturned north of the east truck escape ramp in rural Lebec (1.6 miles south of Grapevine road).
All occupants were airlifted and transported to Kern Medical Center where the infant expired due to his injuries. His mother was ejected and is in critical condition. Other family members suffered minor injuries.
LEBEC (Friday, June 5, 6:53 p.m.)—Kern County Fire Department crews cooperated with the California Highway Patrol and Hall’s Ambulance to rescue and treat six victims of a single-vehicle rollover. The accident occurred at the upper eastern escape ramp, adjacent to Northbound I-5, iin the Grapevine area.
Four Kern County Fire Department engine companies, with a total of 14 personnel, rescued and treated six vehicle accident victims, in preparation for victims’ ground and air ambulance transport.
