Saturday, May 23 is an exciting day in the Mountain Communities.
The third leg in the King of the Mountain Century Challenge rolls through our neck of the woods starting at 8 a.m. Cyclists begin their journey in Lebec and take a 100- mile loop through Frazier Park to Pine Mountain, Cuyama, Lockwood and back.
Downtown Frazier Park welcomes car enthusiasts to the first annual car show put on by the Frazier Mountain Car Club. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the show opens at 10 a.m. with awards at 3 p.m. Don’t miss the vendors and specials offered by local merchants.
The American Jousting Alliance presents their Spring Tourney at Tait Ranch. At 11 a.m. public contests, barbecue and kids’ activities begin. Jousting begins at 4:30 p.m.
FMHS Senior Prom
FMHS Seniors put on their finest and head to the Four Points Sheraton in Ventura for a ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ prom 6 p.m. to midnight.
