On July 14Ma, 2007, this tiny mountain weekly newspaper won three awards for excellence in journalism at the 119th annual conference of the California Newspaper Publishers Association, including First Place for Best Website, First Place for Environmental Reporting and Second Place for Public Service Reporting.
